HYBRID OPERATING ROOMS
VA MATHER, CA
25,000 SQ. FT. OR REMODEL, 2018-2021
Ongoing design of a complete surgery department including the addition of a Hybrid Bi-Plane Operating Suite with Phillips Flex-move, and four Universal ORs. All OR’s are equipped with stainless steel wall cladding system for optimum sanitation and a modular diffuser system on the ceiling for sterile air flow over the operating table. The project also added a new clean core shared between all Operating Rooms to allow for the most current clean and soiled standards to be practiced at this facility.
PSYCHOSOCIAL RECOVERY CENTER
VA MATHER, CA
21,000 SQ. FT. NEW BUILDING, 2020-2022
This VA Mather project is in the midst of the design development stage for a two story building to support Mental Health and Sleep Disorders. The first floor is dedicated to the Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center (PRRC) that includes group therapy rooms, a multipurpose cafeteria, therapy offices, and a learning center. The second floor includes programming for an Outpatient Sleep Clinic and Human Resources. The building is EIFS, metal panel, and stone veneer, with TPO roofing. There are two rooftop air handler units and a central IDF room.
BUILDING 45 SCI EXPANSION
VA ALBUQUERQUE, NM
13,250 SQ. FT. NEW BUILDING, 2021-2022
This VA Albuquerque project is in the midst of schematic design for a single-story Spinal Cord Injury and Disorder expansion. There will be 16 new patient rooms and staff support areas including a new staff lounge and nurse station. There is an internal courtyard for patient access and an external garden area. The building materials include EIFS and metal panel.
MENTAL HEALTH BUILDING 7 REMODEL
VA SPOKANE, WA
8,000 SQ. FT. REMODEL, 2021-2022
This VA Spokane project is in preliminary design for the complete gut and remodel of a single-story Mental Health building. The project will remove and replace all MPE systems, as well as the fire suppression system. The roof will also be removed, an interstitial space added, and a new roof structure installed. All Air handlers will be mounted on the roof. There will also be a remodel of the floor plan, including a newly designed entrance area with expanded waiting, a new check in desk, and better workflow. The patient areas are also being updated with new group therapy rooms, an exam room, and consultation room.
PATHOLOGY GROSSING STATION
VA SAN DIEGO, CA
340 SQ. FT. LAB REMODEL, 2021
This project is in design development. It includes the renovation of the pathology room, replacement of two grossing stations, 3 vented storage cabinets. It aims to rectify the exhaust issues by adding a dedicated exhaust fan and supporting duct work, attached to the new fume hoods to meet the VA design guide standards. The work also includes finish upgrades and lighting upgrades.
